Our Surviving the Holidays event is especially for people who are grieving a loved one’s death. You’ll learn:
– How to deal with the many emotions you’ll face during the holidays.
– What to do about traditions and other coming changes.
– Helpful tips for surviving social events.
– How to discover hope for your future.

Facilitators: Ginger Robinson and Pati Michels
Ginger Robinson facilitates this class through her personal experience of loss. After pastoring with her husband for 21 years, she found herself on the journey of grief following her husband’s death. She is the Assistant Coordinator for U-Turn and has previous teaching and corporate training experience.
Pati is no stranger to grief. Having experience the death of her 20 year old brother, both of her parents and her wonderful husband of 16 years. Yet through it all, she has found her hope and strength is Christ and enjoys her life as a grandmother and active participant in her church. Pati brings a wealth of compassion and insight to this group.
