Event Details

Caregiving for a loved one is a commitment, but that doesn’t mean you have to be alone. In this six-week group, you will learn to explore how you can take care of yourself and your relationships while navigating the care of another. We know you’ll benefit from taking time to care for yourself with this group.

Facilitator: Phyllis Freeman

Phyllis Freeman was a caregiver to her mother who lived in an Alzheimer’s unit in a local facility for five years. She also cared for her husband for thirty-two years at home during his disabilities from back surgeries and numerous diseases. After he needed facility care, she committed to remain involved and active on his behalf with the help of her children. Her desire is to help care givers find meaning in their care giving.
